Hike across the street

We just found a tremendous hike across the street from us. I'm so excited - it was a fabulous adventure day - very waldorfish.

We made a fairy house, picked so many blackberries, found 'mole' holes, attacked tree monsters with sticks, discovered a beautiful hawthorn tree and ended up in a farm field where we shared cookies and played in and on some straw. It was a real hike - not like the Lade Braes path which is paved. We scrambled over roots, found walking sticks and held hands on the harder bits.
