KCWC and #4

KCWC - I haven't joined in a Kids Clothing Week Challenge for quite awhile, and I think it is time to give it a try again.  The challenge is to sew at least one hour a day on kids clothes for a week.  Isaac is desperate for trousers and mittens.  Rowan needs a couple outer layers (hoodies?)  And there will be a new baby joining us in a few months who needs something cute and sweet to wear!

Also, if anyone has any great suggestions on pattern books with cute boy clothes please let me know.  I'd love to try to get in a couple books at the library, so many books have adorable girls clothing, but are sparse for the wee lads!

Congratulations Emily! Lovely news! I bet you'll do a bit of baby sewing too - hard to resist. There was a lovely fleece suit on purl bee last week...

Thanks, I just took a look and the fleece suit is precious! I have some really soft felted sweaters... I wonder if that would work. Oh, baby sewing is such fun!

Congratulations Emily!! I'm so excited for you! Jake got me a great book called "Sewing for Boys" by Shelly Figueroa and Karen LePage. I really love it!

Congratulations, Emily! I was going to ask Kristy about the boys' sewing book that she has, but I see she beat me to it. :)
