Jack Ezra Keats is one of my favorite illustrators and we've been enjoying The Snowy Day in the midst of our snowy days right now. The illustrations are crisp enough to engage Rowan and detailed enough that they send Jonah on adventures in the snow trying to make the same kind of lines and footprints.

We are enjoying The Little Drummer Boy, also illustrated by Ezra Jack Keats. It's beautiful.
we read Snowy Day too after the latest snow fall! Snow is lovely, isn't it?
