A Handmade Christmas

I haven't been posting pictures of projects for the last month, because much of what I was making was for Christmas and much of the crafting happened in the last hour. But, we kept our Christmas fairly simple this year and mostly homemade.

I wanted to make Rowan a stuffed toy of his own for Christmas. This owl was my own creation - inspired by some I've seen in children's shops. It was a fun patchwork project.

I had fun sewing Jonah's mail delivery bag and embroidering envelopes which Daddy stuffed with notes from Thomas and other train friends.

I found a tutorial for this felt sushi online somewhere (sorry I don't remember where), but it was simple and turned out really well.

And now I'm off to this new yarn...
