APPLE PIE ADVENTURE

New books always bring new inspiration...

I wrote out the directions pictorially (based on Mollie Katzen's books), so the kids could do as much themselves as possible. Cutting the apple slices into pieces and mixing their own bowl of filling worked really well. They each assembled their own little pie.

And while they waited for the pie to bake we read "The Apple Pie that Papa Baked" and "The Little House".

Jonah was so proud of his pie and he loved eating it too!
