The hat Jonah's wearing was cast on this fall when I was playing around trying to make Jim a hat. Because I wasn't using a pattern it was obvious by the end that it was going to be Jonah sized and not Daddy sized. I finished it off and it laid in my knitting heap for most of the winter with the end strings hanging. Finally, several weeks ago after finishing his mittens and embellishing a star on them I got out the hat and finished it off, adding the same star. I'm loving the fact that he loves having a hat Mommy made. I know this may not last, so I'm enjoying it while I can.
