Family Art

I've been trying to encourage Jonah's artistic side.  He is so interested in facts, letters and construction there is no prompting needed for these activities, but when it comes to drawing, painting and coloring he mostly isn't interested.  This last week I asked him every morning if he wanted to paint and he said 'no'.  I didn't push - I'm not going to make him paint.  Anyway, last night after dinner he randomly asked to paint, so we had a family painting time.  It was a lot of fun.  Jonah loved mixing the colors and he was very serious about his painting.

Perhaps the most fun was washing up.  Jonah spent a long time 'eating water' out of his bowl at the sink.
