The Snowdrops appeared about a week ago and we've been delighting in them, going off our normal routes to find clusters and generally relishing the thought that spring will arrive relatively soon!
In honor of their arrival I finished putting these two flower fairies from the book The Children's Year together. These two and several others (that have yet to be assembled) were begun last spring, and have been in a work basket on the self all year. It was fitting timing to make them come to life and add the to our nature table.
Snowdrop and Crocus (our crocuses are up, but have yet to bloom)
