Well, now it is on to the backing and I need to order the quilt batting. I'm calling this my Middlemarch quilt as I've listened to half of Middlemarch on librivox.org while piecing it. I was impressed at how quickly it has come together. I suppose that is the beauty of big sqaures and I like the way the simplicity shows off the fabric with no fuss.
I've never machine quilted anything this large and I don't want to take the time to hand quilt it. Any tips out there?
