There has been much excitement in our house over the small green sprouts that are poking up inside and out. You may think that it is the three-year-old in jubilation, but mostly it is Mum and Dad, who've never been this successful before (I know they aren't even very big, but hey, you have to start somewhere.) Jim is mostly responsible as he's taken on most of the work... and play (a certain three year old came in soaked from an out of control hose yesterday.)
The little sunporch is proving to be a brilliant little green house. The salad greens are going wild (and we've been told that they could last all year round on the porch). The tomato plants on the tray will live inside all summer; Scotland just doesn't get hot enough for tomatoes.
