Making ice cream is something I remember doing as a child with Dad, so it was fun to see the kids have an ice cream making experience.
The kids helped to pick icicles off the house to put in the ice cream freezer. I think Granddad did most of the actual churning, but they were all happy to try the ice cream with homemade chocolate sauce after it was frozen!
