The last of Italy

After Florence, we spent one last day in Rome.  We visited the Pantheon (above) and had a second lunch at a very authentic Italian restaurant - so yummy!
Rick Steve's travel guide is right that Rome isn't the best place to travel with kids as there aren't many parks and there are a lot of old, un-child-friendly museums.  But, he also got it right when he said feeding (or in Jonah's case chasing) pigeons and eating gelato are a child's highlights.
Jonah is still loving workbooks and Mum still loves getting pictures of these quiet precious moments - made even more precious by the pace of our travel over the last 6 weeks.
And after Rome... we're off to Ireland with Uncle Jeff.  Jonah loves the airport's moving walkways!
