BOTH!
Jim has had interesting emails from both the PhD program and the Michigan MFA program. Both, are quite willing to entertain the idea of Jim completing both degrees in some combination and perhaps condense them to some extent. So it is looking more and more likely that in 6 years or less Jim will have an MFA and a PhD. We are hopeful that this combination of degrees will open up some interesting job possibilities and help Jim go deeper into the art and theology conversation.
Jim has a couple meetings lined up in St. Andrews, so we'll know more after our trip. We leave on Monday for Scotland.
