Jim spent the afternoon painting outside while Jonah played. Notice the Bob Ross Tee-Shirt - Jonah kept pointing to Mr. Happy Trees and saying "DaDa." You have to admit there is definitely some resemblence.
While Jim paints and Jonah plays I tried to read Bud, Not Buddy as part of my quest to read/reread all 96 Newberry winners by the end of the year. (I finished Bud, Not Buddy tonight and highly recommend it.)
